About The Property
The property is accessed by a gated private entrance across a bridge spanning the river. Just you, the mountains, and the river!
Despite the remote feel, BroadAxe Lodge is serviced by a year around maintained paved highway and only 6 miles from Highway 93.

Loved everything about this place. Cabin feeling while watching the sheep through the window and the deer cresting over the ridge. Listening to the river below you. Inside was really clean. Shower was better than any hotel shower. WIFI worked very well. Extremely spacious rooms. Beds were very comfortable. Caretakers on site were top notch

This property will not disappoint. The cabin was beautiful, we had everything we needed and bonus WiFi (no service otherwise). We were able to walk right into the East Fork of the Bitterroot where we caught beautiful trout. At night you can see the stars so clear, including the Milky Way, it even felt like the stars were falling on us as it was so clear. Another huge perk was laundry on site. You can not ask for more friendly Caretakers of the property, RoseAnn & Dave. Just a short drive to Darby & Hamilton and you continue to have so many opportunities to fish and hike or shop if you would like. There are a few cabins on the property which would allow for a multifamily/friend group to come enjoy the beautiful and peaceful sites of Montana. We definitely will be scheduling another trip out.

This place was perfect for a quick weekend ski trip. The cabin was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. The caretakers were great about snow shoveling and plowing. We will stay again.
